Don’t let the heat get you down!

Finally it is summer in CNY. But we know what is around the corner! Time to make finally decisions on those Christmas projects. I know I should get started but I want to finish my own projects first! I’m deciding on whether to use the bulky Tahki Montana or maybe the chunky Burly Spun for sweaters for my sons at Christmas. Stay tuned!

Finally! The website is now online (as you can see!)

The first stage of our website launch is finally online. Welcome to the site and the blog.  We are still working on listing the products on the site and providing an e-commerce facility so you can order online. But, like all good things, it takes time. Please leave a comment below, I would love to know what you would like to see on the website as we develop it.

Fancy Schmancy! New scarf under way

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

fancy-schmancyToday I received Filatura Di Crosa’s Fancy Scherzo wool acrylic blend.  The little poofs of brown, gold, and grey color on the black yarn make a bulky weight scarf.  Its fluffy and soft which makes for very easy knitting.  I think I am keeping this one for myself!

Just In: Hand Dyed Lanaloft Bulky

Monday, August 10th, 2009

lanaloft-bulkyTaking a break from website programming, looking through the new arrivals in store including the beautiful Lanaloft Bulky.

Brand new from Brown Sheep great for those hats, scarves and bulky sweaters.  I really like the muted color ways and am looking forward to turning “Prescious Stone” into a vest.  That’s if I ever finish my Colinette Iona sweater!
