Beginning Knitting.
You have been meaning to get started- and now it's time.  We will be learn to cast on, the knit stitch, purl stitch, decreasing, increasing, yarn overs and binding off.  There is also special attention to gauge and tension. This is the first step in your knitting career.

Nightengale Vest--Amimoni/Helga Isager.


This beautiful vest is from Helga Isager's new book, the Bird collection from Amimono,and  is a  perfect garment to wear  and a perfect class to stretch your knitting abilities. This vest is made from Isager's highland and Alpaca 1. It will be a joy to wear ---and everyone will be sure to admire it.

Jedi Knitters
OK-Shannon's  sweater class is open to all skill levels. This class will continue to enhance your skill set for we ask you to pick a pattern that will stretch your knitting abilities. Rowan, Blue Sky. Tahki, Shibui- you pick.The options are limitless and we would be happy to find a great piece for you to work on. This class goes continuously. Jump in at any time.

Beyond Basic Spinning with your Wheel
This advanced beginner class will demonstrate different plying techniques, ratios, and how best to utilize your lovely handspun yarn.( Kromski and Ashford Wheels available for a test drive)

Carmel's Classes!
Every Saturday morning Carmel is here to help with your Yarn Cupboard projects. She is also available on a first come, first serve basis on the Tuesday and Thursday evenings on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month.You always need to call to reserve your spot in any  of her 3 classes.

Jill will be starting a sock drop in class on every other Monday evenings starting  October 28th. What ever sock you are doing...or want to do...or want to learn...even if you have never done a sock....this is for you!!!
What about Hermione's everyday sock- or Crystals, 'Combs and Cables Socks... We are the sock store with beautiful sock yarns and now a drop in sock class!

Julie's "Taste of Lace"
This is a new concept for the Yarn Cupboard. Julie will be teaching a wonderful new monthly new lace series--each time you will receive Julie's new pattern which will be themed each month-and by the end of the series you will have a gorgeous lace sampler scarf. Monies paid each class will be put towards gift certificates that will be won by the participants!!!!! Thank Julie for such a wonderful idea!!

Beth Coye will be teaching this drop spindle class that many of you have been waiting for.Come and spend the afternoon with Beth learning all the ins and outs of spinning!

Lisa Merian's Nuno Felting Class is back!!!!
Lisa is back November 3rd by popular demand. Her last felting class was amazing and everyone has the bug. Even if you did not do the last class, please come and try the next class! We will be making felted decorative vessels  or you could wet felt a  beautiful scarf. Call and ask all your questions. Don't miss out on this next class.

This is a great class to learn to double knit---and the sample makes a wonderful Pot Holder~ Double knitting is reversible-can be applied to many garments. Wonderful for cowls and scarves.

This is your opportunity to make the most gorgeous small beaded bag. These bags can be made bigger-perfect for a wedding or a night on the town. This small bag is perfect for around your neck as decoration or to hold something special.
Second session is the embellishment class-come and learn how to decorate your project and how embellishing can work for garments and lace.
