Is it hot enough?

Wow. What a week. The heat just seems to keep coming. I have never been a hot weather person-thank God I work in an air conditioned yarn shop. And the rain! Someone bumped my car this week not paying attention and slid up against my bumper in that deluge.
Alot has been happening however here at the Yarn Cupboard- new yarns from Malabrigo, Berroco, Spud and Chloe, Blue Sky Alpaca and Tahki are in. It seems that Nancy has found the last cubby hole to put the excess. Have I mentioned Thank God for Nancy? And new classes are forming and are on the go. Shannon is a whirlwind! She has people doing Fair Isle and graphing patterns. Entrelac is next- don’t miss it. Her scarf is gorgeous- as are her fingerless wristies. She has an entrelac sock class coming soon.
And of course Carmel-here every Saturday. Helping those who need it, and making a gorgeous Maggi Knits sweater. If you are interested, you still can join up.
And then there is Beth Coye who is the Lace Queen. They are upstairs now learning Beth’s own lace scarf pattern and also the lace leaf shawl. And I need to clean my desk.
August is looming and we know what that means- Its almost the holiday season!!!!!! I hope to see you soon-and don’t forget to check the class schedule. That may help with holiday gifts!!!
