Classes

We are currently offering classes Mondays 4-6 PM and Thursdays 11 AM -1 PM & 1-3 PM as well as 6-8 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM-12 PM. We also have a crochet class from 12P – 2P on Wednesday. Please call to claim a spot in our classes, seats are limited due to COVID-19 virus. Feel free to check our calendar for our online class schedule!

FINISHING CLASS INFORMATION:

June 17th we are having our first of 5 finishing classes. This is the class you have been waiting for. Limited seating. Please confirm you are coming!! Caroline Sheffeld is a master knitter and will help to elevate your projects in the future: CLASS 1:  Gauge Swatch – getting it right every time; Cast Ons and Bind Offs – selecting the perfect beginning and end to your project ; (Include 3 needle bind off); Blocking  (types of blocking, and types of fiber). CLASS 2:  1) Weaving in ends – stockinette, garter, ribbing, and other stitch patterns; 2) Picking up stitches across various edges and patterns. CLASS 3:  Seaming – Increase and Decrease placement for optimal seaming; Mattress stitch for Stockinette, Ribbing and Garter. CLASS 4: Seaming Vertical to Horizontal (as for sleeves to body); Seaming Vertical to Vertical (as for shoulder seams); Kitchener Grafting in Stockinette and Rib. CLASS 5: Buttonholes; Button bands (Picking up stitches revisited). Materials to bring: Worsted weight yarn and various needle sizes; Tapestry needle, scissors, Some swatches to be worked in advance depending upon which class it is.  (Classes 2,3,4).

World Knit Trip
Berroco and Lang is excited to welcome Dennis van den Brink (Dendennis) and Wim Vandereyken (Mr. Knitbear)  from Happily Knitting to the US for their World Knit Trip!⁠

The guys will be joining us Yarn Cupboard: Thursday, June 29 – Yarn Cupboard, Syracuse, NY – Sock workshop 9am – 12pm, pillow workshop 1pm – 4pm
