“We believe that the best approach to creating something new is to look into our past and cultural heritage, to bring out the best things that history taught us and to make it our own again. For this Regia effect, we’ve dug deep into our archive of Norwegian patterns and worked on developing an effect inspired by an old men’s vest, which was part of a 19-century Norwegian folk costume from the Gudbrandsdal region of Norway. The colour combinations are inspired by Edward Munch’s paintings of landscapes and beautiful Norwegian nights.” – Arne & Carlos
